Privacy, without the vague parts.

This notice explains what VidMakerPro collects, why it is needed, which providers process creative content, how connected publishing works, and the choices available to you.

Last updated · Effective July 28, 2026

01 We do not sell personal data.

Data is shared only to operate the service, process payments, publish when you ask, measure marketing with consent, or meet legal duties.

02 Optional storage stays off by default.

Google Analytics starts with storage denied and limited cookieless measurement. Analytics cookies, Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, and X Pixel activate only after you accept.

03 Creative files are short-lived by default.

Temporary uploads are generally removed after 24 hours; private generated media is generally removed after 3 days unless an exception applies.

01

Who we are and what this covers

VidMakerPro ("VidMakerPro", "we", "us", or "our") provides AI-assisted tools for creating, editing, storing, and publishing short-form videos. VidMakerPro is the controller of personal data used to provide accounts, subscriptions, product features, support, security, and our own marketing.

This Privacy Policy applies to vidmakerpro.com, the VidMakerPro web application, and related services. It does not replace the privacy notices or terms of third-party platforms you choose to connect or content sources you visit.

02

Data we collect

Account and profile data

When you sign in with Google, we receive account information such as your name, email address, profile image, Google account identifier, and authentication tokens required to maintain your session. We also store account status, language, plan, credits, and preferences.

Creative content and instructions

We process the material you submit or create, including prompts, topics, scripts, scene descriptions, public video URLs, uploaded images, reference media, audio, voice samples, captions, titles, generated images, generated audio, and finished videos. Project settings and generation status may be stored so you can continue or review a workflow.

Voice cloning data

If you voluntarily use voice cloning, we process the voice recording, voice name, and optional description you submit. You must use your own voice or have explicit permission from the person whose voice is supplied. The recording is sent to ElevenLabs to create a temporary voice.

Billing and subscription data

Stripe processes payment-card details. VidMakerPro does not store complete card numbers. We receive and retain limited billing information such as Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, payment status, transaction references, plan, credits, currency, and billing-event history.

Connected social accounts

If you connect a platform, we process the minimum account profile, permission scopes, access and refresh tokens, and publication records needed for that feature. More detail appears in Connected platforms.

Device, log, and security data

Our servers and security systems may process IP address, user agent, browser and device information, request identifiers, timestamps, route and feature activity, error and performance telemetry, rate-limit events, and fraud or abuse signals. If you enable web push, we store the browser push endpoint and related subscription keys.

Marketing attribution data

After marketing consent, we may store landing page, referrer, UTM campaign parameters, campaign source, and conversion events. Our first- and last-touch attribution records expire after 90 days.

03

How and why we use data

Purpose Typical data Legal basis where applicable
Provide accounts and the product Profile, authentication, projects, prompts, media, preferences, credits Contract; steps requested before a contract
Generate and assemble content Prompts, scripts, images, audio, public URLs, generated assets Contract; your instructions
Process billing and subscriptions Plan, Stripe identifiers, transaction and payment status Contract; legal obligations
Publish to a connected account OAuth tokens, account profile, video and publication settings Consent; contract; your explicit instruction
Secure and improve the service Logs, errors, device and request data, feature activity Legitimate interests; legal obligations
Measure advertising Cookie identifiers, page, campaign, referrer, conversion events Consent

We may use automated moderation and anti-abuse systems to block unsafe, unlawful, infringing, or provider-restricted requests. These systems affect whether a generation can run; they are not used to make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects about you.

04

How AI processing works

VidMakerPro is an orchestration service. To create a requested result, the relevant prompt, script, image, reference file, audio, or other creative input may be transmitted to one or more AI service providers. The provider receives only the material needed for the selected feature.

OpenAI Script, text, analysis, image, and transcription workflows.
Replicate and fal.ai Image and video generation using the model you select.
ElevenLabs Voice synthesis, music generation, voice library, and optional temporary voice cloning.
Deepgram Audio transcription and word-level timing for subtitles.

Do not submit confidential information you do not want processed by an AI provider. Do not upload a person's face, voice, image, or other protected material unless you have the right and any permission required to use it.

We do not use private customer creative content to train a VidMakerPro-owned general-purpose AI model. Third-party providers process data under their applicable terms, privacy notices, and the service settings available to VidMakerPro.

05

Connected platforms and publishing

Connecting a social account is optional. VidMakerPro will not publish a video until you select the account, review the content and settings, and expressly authorize the upload.

YouTube

We request youtube.upload and youtube.readonly permissions. We use them to read basic information about the channel you selected, display it back to you, upload the video you authorize, set title, description, audience and privacy status, and check the upload status. We store channel ID, channel title, custom URL or avatar when available, granted scopes, encrypted access and refresh tokens, connection timestamps, and publication records.

TikTok

We request user.info.basic, video.upload, and video.publish permissions. We use them to show the connected account, read creator posting options, export or publish the video you authorize, and check publication status. We store the TikTok account identifier and profile information returned by TikTok, granted scopes, encrypted tokens, connection timestamps, and publication records.

You stay in control. Disconnecting an account makes VidMakerPro attempt to revoke the provider token and deletes the stored connection tokens. You can also revoke access directly in the connected platform's security settings.

06

Google and YouTube API data

VidMakerPro uses Google Sign-In and YouTube API Services. Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Google user data obtained for connected YouTube publishing is used only to provide or improve the visible connection and publishing features you request. It is not sold, used for personalized ads, or transferred for advertising. Human access is limited to situations where you give specific consent, it is necessary for security or incident response, it is required by law, or the data has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations.

You can review or revoke VidMakerPro access in Google's third-party access settings. Your use of Google and YouTube is also governed by the Google Privacy Policy and, for YouTube features, the YouTube Terms of Service.

07

Cookies, local storage, and marketing

We use browser storage that is necessary for authentication, security, service recovery, language, product preferences, generation state, and your cookie choice. Disabling essential storage may prevent account or product features from working.

Google Analytics loads with Google Consent Mode v2 on each page. Unless you have accepted optional measurement, analytics and advertising storage are set to denied. In that state, VidMakerPro does not set or use analytics or advertising storage for Google, but Google may receive limited, cookieless measurement and consent signals such as page URL, referrer, consent state, timestamp, and technical request information. These signals support basic reporting and aggregated measurement.

Selecting Accept optional measurement grants analytics and advertising storage. Google Analytics may then use identifiers and cookies for fuller audience and engagement reporting, while Google Ads, TikTok Pixel, and X Pixel may measure campaign visits and conversions. Depending on the event, these services may receive page URL, referrer, campaign parameters, device and browser information, IP-derived information, cookie or similar identifiers, and conversion events such as sign-up, checkout, subscription, generation, or social publishing completion.

Choosing Essential only does not prevent you from using VidMakerPro. You can change your choice at any time through Cookie settings in the site footer. Withdrawing consent clears VidMakerPro's stored attribution data and attempts to remove known first-party marketing cookies; you may also clear cookies in your browser.

08

When data is shared

We do not sell personal data. We share data in these limited situations:

  • Infrastructure and storage: Firebase and Google Cloud for authentication, database, storage, and related infrastructure; Railway for application hosting and processing.
  • AI and media processing: OpenAI, Replicate, fal.ai, ElevenLabs, and Deepgram, depending on the feature and model you choose.
  • Payments: Stripe for checkout, subscription, invoicing, fraud prevention, and payment processing.
  • Connected publishing: Google/YouTube and TikTok only when you connect an account or authorize an action.
  • Analytics and advertising measurement: Google Analytics with storage denied and limited cookieless signals before opt-in; analytics or advertising storage, Google Ads, TikTok, and X only after optional-measurement consent.
  • Legal, safety, and business changes: when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce agreements, protect users or the service, investigate fraud or abuse, or complete a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale subject to appropriate safeguards.

Providers may process limited technical information of their own when you interact with their service. Their own privacy notices govern that independent processing.

09

How long data is kept

Data Default retention
Temporary uploads Generally deleted after 24 hours.
Private generated videos, images, audio, and reference media Generally deleted from file storage after 3 days. Project or generation metadata may remain longer.
Temporary cloned voices Scheduled for deletion from ElevenLabs after approximately 30 minutes, or sooner if you delete the voice.
Public or featured videos May be retained while public, featured, under moderation, or needed to provide the public feature.
Connected-platform tokens Until you disconnect, revoke access, close the related account, or the connection is no longer needed.
Marketing attribution First- and last-touch attribution expires after 90 days; consent choice remains until changed or reset.
Google Analytics measurement According to the retention controls configured for the Analytics property and applicable law; aggregated reporting may remain longer.
Account, subscription, transaction, security, and support records For the account lifecycle and then as needed for legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, and security purposes.

Retention can be shorter or longer when a deletion is requested, a file is replaced, a provider has its own necessary processing period, a backup cycle applies, or law, safety, fraud prevention, moderation, a dispute, or a valid preservation request requires it.

10

Security

We use technical and organizational controls designed to protect data, including HTTPS in transit, authentication and authorization controls, rate limits, restricted administrative access, provider credential separation, and application-level AES-256-GCM encryption for stored YouTube and TikTok OAuth tokens.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account, device, and connected-platform access. Contact us promptly if you believe your VidMakerPro account or data has been compromised.

11

International data transfers

VidMakerPro and its providers operate in multiple countries, including the United States. This means data may be processed outside your country and may be subject to different privacy laws. Where required, we rely on recognized safeguards such as adequacy decisions, contractual protections, Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism.

12

Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
  • request deletion of data, subject to lawful exceptions;
  • restrict or object to certain processing;
  • receive certain data in a portable format;
  • withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • opt out of the sale or sharing of personal data where applicable — VidMakerPro does not sell personal data;
  • complain to your local data-protection authority; and
  • not be discriminated against for exercising an applicable privacy right.

You can also delete individual content where the product offers that control, disconnect YouTube or TikTok, unsubscribe from push notifications, reject marketing cookies, or clear local browser data. To request account-level access, correction, deletion, or portability, email us from the address associated with your account. We may need to verify your identity before completing the request.

13

Policy updates

We may update this notice when the product, providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how previously collected data is used, we will provide additional notice or request consent where required.
